Here are some good sources for your students (and you and your lab tech too!) to find safety data on chemicals. (1) Hands-on Science (H-Sci) Project: Chemical Safety Database - This database is developmed by the Department of Chemistry, the University of Oxford, which includes most chemicals commonly found in school chemsitry laboratories. http://cartwright.chem.ox.ac.uk/hsci/chemicals/hsci_chemicals_list.html (2) Secondary Science Student Safety Sheets - This is developed by CLEAPSS which is an advisory service providing support in science and technology for schools and colleages in the UK. Some of the resources provided are for members only while some are free to download. You may visit their website at www.cleapss.org.uk for details. The Student Safety Sheets cover safety information of common materials and experimental procedures involved in secondary science classes. http://www.cleapss.org.uk/attachments/article/0/SSSA.pdf?Secondary/Science/Student%20Safety%20Sheets/ -- You are subscribed to email updates from "化學教師專業發展及資源共享平台."
